Does IQS handle domain registration?

In the past IQS did handle domain name registration. However, with the proliferation of registrars, we no longer offer this service. We suggest that you look into an accredited ICANN registrar.

Can I transfer my existing domain to IQS?

Yes, you must change the nameserver information with your current registrar. Our nameserver information is:

ns.nameservers.com 216.46.160.3
ns2.nameservers.com 216.46.160.3

How long does it take before my domain name is active?

That depends on the speed with which your registrar makes the nameserver changes and updates their nameservers. Typically, the process takes 24 to 48 hours for all of the DNS propagation to complete.

Will I be able to access my domain name with or without the WWW.?

Yes, for example, your site will be available via both: www.YOURSITE.com, and YOURSITE.com.

Can multiple domains point to the same HTML files?

Yes, In general we can point any domains that are currently being hosted at IQS to any virtual web site. For this service we charge $4.95/mo for each additional domain.
